Cowboy Baked Beans w/ a twist pineapple



2 large cans of Beans (whatever brand you prefer, I use Bush's)
1 pound of gourmet sausage (again, whatever flavor you prefer)
1 large can of Dole pineapple (diced or cubed, I prefer diced)
Brown Sugar

While heating beans in crock pot or on the stove (low heat),
brown and drain the sausage. Drain juice from the pineapple
and add chunks to the beans. Add sausage to the beans and let
simmer. Add Brown sugar to taste after beans have simmered for
a bit. Depending on how sweet the pineapples are, you may not
need it.

All of the ingredients can be increased or decreased. The
amounts provided are for a base. Also, this taste better with
sausage, but I am sure you can try it with hamburger meat.
